Material
150 gram black gram
2 tomatoes
3 green chillies
1 piece ginger
1 piece Asafoetida
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp coriander leaves
2 tsp oil
Salt to taste

How to make Kala Chana Curry Recipe
To make Kala Chana curry, first of all take Chano and clean it well. Now put Chano in a vessel and soak it one night before.
Next day take the gram and wash it in clean water. Now put gram, water, salt and baking soda in the cooker and keep it on the gas for boiling. On coming to a city, light the gas and cook the open gram for a while.
After doing so, finely grind green chillies, tomatoes and ginger in the grinder. Now put oil in a pan and place it on the gas for heating. Add asafetida and cumin seeds to the hot oil. Now add coriander and turmeric and mix it well.
Add the ground mixture to the fried spices and fry it by mixing it well. Now add roasted spices, garam masala, red chilli and salt in the cooker and mix it well.
Cook the gram for 2-3 minutes on low flame. In a short while your delicious black gram curry is ready, take it out in a bowl and add green coriander and serve it hot.
It takes 30 minutes to make Kala Chana Curry. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to prepare it.
